A rescue gone wrong leads to imprisonment, death, and possibly the destruction of the Circeae system.
Raven’s life should be wonderful. She is married to the Divine Warrior, and they live in devotion to the Crown on Serenata. Yet disturbing dreams and visions continue to haunt her. She can’t shake the image of her brother, Rider, in the grasp of the Continuum, unworldly beings with unique powers. She is consumed with guilt. After all, it’s her fault he is their captive. Evil is in their midst, and she must face it before Rider is destroyed.
And she’s not alone.
Arabella Barrett, Rider’s intended, has also seen him. He appears to her on more than one occasion. When Jett comes to tell her his son is dead, she knows he’s not telling the truth. But why would he lie? To protect his crazy daughter, no doubt.
In order to rescue Rider, though, Arabella will have put aside her issues with Raven. They must work together to find answers to the mysteries of the Continuum as they embark on a pursuit that spans the Circeae system. And when they come face-to-face with Rider, they begin to understand the depth of the Continuum’s hold upon him. Will Arabella’s love be enough to reach him? Or will Raven’s irrational allegiance lead to more trouble and greater sacrifice?
