After a painful Hollywood divorce, struggling actress Kate Brennan moves to Tinsel Pines with the hopes of renovating its historic theater. Historic, she finds, is a word used in place of the phrase death trap. The building is a disaster, and Kate has nowhere to turn but local contractor Andrew Sutton. Andrew can do the work, but Kate is inexperienced with making these kinds of decisions, not to mention financially strapped. Her ex-husband Collin has the resources and is willing to come to the rescue...with the condition of partnering in the venture. Caught between a rock, a hard place, and her ex, Kate will have to learn to stand on her own two feet, all the while contending with her growing feelings for Andrew...

Maggie Winchester has a dream...turning the old family ranch into a fun, exciting tourist attraction. She can picture the possibilities from a summertime living history museum and chuckwagon dinner show to an old-fashioned harvest barn dance to a warm and inviting Christmas light display. She fully believes people from all around would turn up to experience Wonderland Ranch. The problem? Neither the bank nor the tourism board shares her vision. Without buy-in from both, the ranch is dying. And her husband Paul isn't really on board, either. Maggie faces a lonely, uphill battle which might cost her her home, her marriage...maybe even her life!
