Upon the passing of their leader Redic Clairet, the Ghosts find themselves in the middle of a difficult transition. The torch has been handed to a new generation, but grief clouds judgment and threatens division. Will the followers of Prince Ternion be able to continue with their plans to deliver the system from the Legacy and restore peace and prosperity?

When Elianna, the treasured daughter of Seraph and Echo, goes missing, the Ghosts’ campaign is placed on hold. Unnecessary personnel are relocated throughout the system, placed in safe houses and private homes. The remaining families band together, vowing to save Elianna from whatever evil has taken her.

Innocent lives are lost as heinous supernatural assaults begin to occur. Seraph soon learns that Elianna is not only missing, but is now in the possession of the Crown’s enemy—the Strages. It is she who is responsible for the attacks. He must face the possibility of eliminating his own daughter in order to protect the rest of his family and the Ghosts.
