Until Daimler Luxcis walks into her life. With his charming and captivating ways, he lures Taran away from Bastian and into a life to which her father would object. And that might be a problem, had Damiler’s criminal family not removed her father from the picture.

Riddled with secrets and burdened by guilt, Taran struggles to extract herself from the situation, only to be drawn in further and further. After an assault gone wrong, she is reunited with Bastian who has followed through with his dream of becoming a Zenith agent.
