A prophecy fulfilled will see the resurrection of the Ruler Prince. The Circeae system is spun into chaos by the execution of Prince Ternion. Now ruled by the iron-fisted Progressive Legacy, Ternion’s people have scattered in fear, but the Clairets are unable to avoid the grip of the Tribunal. Any hope left in the system dies along with the Clairet family. Only Redic manages to escape, or so it is believed. The Legacy has deceived their witnesses and spirited away the young Clairet twins to a secret location.
Seraph and Selah Gunner grow up on a sheltered world. Seraph is sent away to join the ranks of the Legacy’s policing force—the Zeniths. Before too long, Selah discovers something terrible has happened to Seraph, and flees in an effort to find him. Instead, she stumbles upon her destiny. With the help of one of Redic’s former associates, she discovers her true identity as one of the Logia called to fulfill the Reconciliation Prophecy—bringing about the return of the Ruler Prince. A Ghost ship captained by Cam Gray is hired to transport Selah to the main underground Logia chapel. While making a routine maintenance stop, Selah is wounded. Cam diverts the ship to his estranged brother’s estate to request assistance. Cam’s brother reveals himself to be a Logia, and assists Selah in her restoration. He then discloses truth about the past Cam’s memories has skewed. Together, Selah and Cam rescue her brother Seraph from the Legacy’s clutches. They are reunited with their father, Redic Clairet prior to traveling to the location where the Reconciliation Prophecy will be fulfilled. Once there, they are confronted by the Strages, and Selah is killed. Will the prophecy be realized, though and the resurrected Ruler Prince set things right again? |
